News update
Well, as usual, it's been a long time between "posts". Nick and I are both going well. I am 3/4s of the way through my first term of uni, and am really enjoying my subjects this year. Nick is working pretty hard as usual, although is not working really crazy hours at the moment (i.e. he is getting home before 10pm most nights!). We caught up with Soph and Beks this week, who were in London for a travel show. It was great to catch up with them, and they both seem to be going well (except for not getting much time to relax!). Soph and I even hit the shops on Wednesday morning, which was much fun - particularly when it involved baby gap! (just for nieces for those likely to get concerned!).
Other then that, we've just been catching up with friends. I saw the Diane Argus exhibition with Angela last weekend, and we also had Yum Cha in Chinatown for Steve's birthday. On Friday night we caught up with Nat and Peter and some newly arrived friends of ours, Alun and Anecia, who provided a glimpse into how far we've come since arriving in London just over a year ago. In particular, we have stopped converting things into Australian dollars and now think of £1 as $1. Scary thought. For those PC people who still read this, we also caught up with Leonie.
There is only a short time left before we head home for Christmas. Key dates for those who are interested: 9th Dec leave London, am 11th Dec arrive in Sydney, pm 12th Dec arrive in Melbourne, pm 14th Dec arrive in Adelaide, 3rd Jan leave Australia. We are very much looking forward to catching up with everyone, and to have some warm weather - it's been 7 degrees over here, dropping to 0 at night!
And in family news, Ross turned 21 last week, and is having a big birthday bash at home this weekend, so Ross, hope you have a good one!
